Our story
How Muralia started
Mural art is humanity's oldest form of artistic expression, yet it still works almost exactly as it did thousands of years ago: no standards, no contracts, no protection. Muralists get paid by bank transfer, with no guarantee, tracking their books in a spreadsheet they no longer understand. Clients have no real way to find, compare, or safely hire an artist.
In 2024, from Mexico City, we set out to change that. Not from the outside, but alongside muralists: improving the map, the catalog, and the visibility of their profiles, and giving them contracts, protected payments, and tools to run their business. We have spent more than 18 months building it with their feedback.
Mural art is the oldest art form in human history, but it operates as if technology never existed. Muralia exists to change that.

Muralia is founded to bring standards, contracts, and technology to a mural industry that ran entirely on informality.

We launch the marketplace with verified muralists and AI matching that delivers the first quote in hours, not days.

We ship an Airbnb-style map to list and book walls at transparent prices, and supply starts growing organically.
Feb 2026
Going global with muralia.art
We migrate from muralia.mx to muralia.art with a bilingual, multi-currency platform, opening registration to international artists.

34 countries and brand campaigns
Supply jumps to 34 countries; we deliver murals for Corona across from Estadio Azteca and our first project outside Mexico, in Texas.

MuraLink launches
MuraLink: one link bundling the payment request, signed contract, and automatic invoice so artists get paid safely.
